Aromatherapy Rejuvenating Bathing Ritual

Hello gorgeous soul,
I wrote this for you to share in one of my most essential tool – resource – ritual that I personally experience twice weekly.
The rejuvenating bathing experience . My non-negotiable self care ritual.
This simple act of self love 💕 does so much more for me than anything else . It can be transformative , cleansing, nourishing, healing , relaxing … anything you want – you can create .
So I want to share my complete steps to a rejuvenating bathing experience that is easy once you’re set up .
So please feel free to to print this out for yourself until you feel confident to do it on your own adding your own variety of botanical ingredients eg.flowers to adorn your bathing water .
Having a bathing ritual in my life has provided me a tool to de-stress and reduce overwhelm for when things go a little crazy.
A bath is where I turn to if feeling emotional, body feeling out of whack or need some space to just ‘be’.
The bath is my sanctuary, a place where I can download my day and upload ideas, plans and beautiful thoughts to rejuvenate my soul, uplift my mind and nourish my body.
It is the place I get closer to my essence and let go and process my day.
It is here I feel like a ‘goddess’, a ‘queen’, a captain of my ship.
I create a bath that suits my mood using the following tools/toys.
Essential Oils
Castile Soap
Cold Pressed Plant Oil
Magnesium Flakes
Bottle of water
Candles
My bathing ritual usually goes something like this.
Step 1
I add 2 cups of Magnesium flakes to the running water
Optional extra add *Bath salts
Step 2
As the water is running I – prep the room-
Water , close doors , play background music,
Step 3
Then I light my candles saying an affirmation or adding an intention- eg.
Step 4
I undress and moisturize my body with *Jojoba Organic Oil + Essential oil recipe
I have a wonderful recipe for you that I adore to help me feel more centred, stronger, reset my balance and feel love n happiness in my heart.
GORGEOUS GODDESS
Rose Otto 3 drops
Orange 4 drops
Sandalwood 2 drops
Geranium 1 drop
*In winter I even warm the Oil up gently on the stove or place a small glass bowl in a larger bowl of hot hot water.
This is an ayuvedic ritual to restore the doshas.
Step 5
I sit on the floor on my towel and using long loving strokes from the neck downwards towards the feet . Covering every part of your body.
Repeating affirmations
Step 6
Then once completed
I step into bath with an intention, and gently immerse myself into the full bath of water.
*TIP Great if you are having trouble sleeping massaging from neck downwards to feet.
Step 7
Let the aromatic vapors embrace your be-ing and softly create a haven for yourself.
Soak for 20 MINUTES – 1 hour
Sip on your chilled water watching the flicker of your candles as it brings you to focus gently and release your day.
Now it’s time to reconnect with the most transformative tool we each have .
Our breath.
Deep breathing full , intentional, buddha belly breathing .
Slow it all down . Reconnect with your breath.
Breathe in through your nose and out with your mouth .
Feel that energy you are creating within .
Added with the water, botanicals, essential oils – what an essential experience for your body. Your cortisol levels go way down , your adrenals get a chance to replenish hence your entire nervous system gets a chance to rejuvenate .

Step 8
Once your ready. Slowly step out of the bath .
Release the water and wipe down bath . This is part of completion and cleansing .
#TIP reuse bathwater into your garden.
Step 9
Pat yourself gently with a towel, moisturize your body with an aromatic blend and time for a restful, rejuvenating sleep.
